What is a bedside cot?

There are six different height settings and an incline option to help with reflux and congestion.
Unlike some bedside cribs which can be a nightmare to clean due to their incessant stream of snot and dribble and snot, the Tutti Bambini CoZee Air has a wipe-clean liner and fabric that can be removed for machine-washing. It also comes with a top bar which can be easily adjusted to accommodate feedings at night without the need to juggle zips.
Anna discovered that the CoZee was a comfortable and safe sleep space for her newborn. It was a pleasure to not move like other models so she wasn't disturbed in the night trying to comfort her child to feed. She also enjoyed that the side lowered down so she didn't have to reach over her partner to pull the baby to feed her at night.
The CoZee is available in oak or charcoal and is a chic option for any bedroom. It's more a designer piece than some of the other cribs that we've tested, which can look quite utilitarian in comparison. It is also relatively light at just 11kg. It also comes with a carrying case so you can bring it on holiday or even when you move house. You'll need an extra waterproof sheet and safety strap to sleep with your partner. There are step-bystep instructions and pictures to help you put it together when first opening the box which makes it a one-person job when needed.
The Maxi-Cosi Lora
The Iora is a bassinet for the bed that helps parents feel connected to their infant as they sleep. It adjusts upwards and downwards and can be moved through three slide positions to be placed next to the bed of the parent, or in the corner of the room, to ensure that your baby is within arm's reach. The mesh siding lets air flow through and allows you to quickly see your baby. You can also keep any extra pajamas or items in the large basket underneath.
In contrast to other bedside crib options, the Iora can be folded flat and comes with a travel bag which allows it to be taken wherever. Our mom testers found it easy to move from room to room and felt that it was a suitable size for a small bedside cot that was not too big or too small. They also liked the large storage basket, that is ideal for storing nappies or bedding.
This is a great option for parents who wish to sleep together, but don't wish to share their bed. If bedside crib and cot of the partners suffers from mobility issues such as back pain or arthritis. Our mom testers loved that they could easily access their child in the Iora and that it included an optional reflux incline that helped alleviate gas.
